The Online Market is Open!

It’s finally beginning to look more like fall—the leaves and temperature are changing, and falling! But one thing that isn’t changing is our vendors’ commitment to provide you with the best locally produced meats, produce, baked goods, and other artisan products. Check out the latest, and order from now until Thursday at 5pm. Pick-up will be Saturday from 9-10:30am at the Moss House. While you’re there, check out our in-person Winter Market!

The Online Market Is Open!

Our ‘summer’ market may be done, but that doesn’t mean our farmers are all finished! Our online market has lots to offer—farm fresh produce, meats, baked goods, artisan crafts and more! Order between now and Thursday afternoon for pickup this Saturday at the Moss House.

This Saturday, we are starting our Winter Market! From 9am-noon, you can stop by the Moss House and shop in person and see what our vendors have available. Each week we hope to have around 6-8 vendors set up in the parking lot (when weather is favorable) or in the basement conference area of the Moss House (when the weather is not good).

We look forward to seeing you all this Saturday!

The Online Market is Open & Kids Day THIS Saturday!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Homegrown Festival this past weekend! This week is our LAST in-person market in Memorial Park. After this weekend, we WILL continue the online market, AND we are going to be starting the brand-new Winter Market at the Moss House (next door to Memorial Park). From now until Thursday check out the great selection of farm fresh produce, meats, baked goods and artisan crafts that our vendors have for you!

This Saturday is our final Kids Day of the season! The Market is open 8am-12pm, with Kids Day from 9am-12pm.
Be sure to “RSVP” those kiddos for the 2022 POP Club!

What does Kids Day look like this year?
1. We brought back the 2 Bite Club! We will be preparing 2 Bite Club samples for each kiddo to taste a different fruit, veggie, or recipe each month, purchased straight from our SSFM Farmers.
2. Each month your kiddos will receive POP tokens to spend with our farmers on veggies and fruits!
3. We will have local non-profits set up with additional activities, just for kids.
4. This will continue to be a FREE and fun event brought to you by Simmons Foods and Arvest Bank!

To participate in this year’s POP Club all you need to do is login to your Locally Grown account (https://siloamsprings.locallygrown.net), click on the Kids Day tab, and add a “Kids Day RSVP” for each participating child to your cart, and check out! This will help us know how many kiddos plan to stop by during Kids Day (please remember that the program is set up for ages 3-12). Don’t forget, you’ll have to “RSVP” each month.

When you arrive at the market on Kids Day, head straight to the Outdoor Farmers Market Hub located in the Memorial Park concession stand from 9am-12pm to participate in POP Club activities. 2 Bite Club, POP tokens pick up, and all other information will be located at the concession stand.Your kiddos will earn their $2 tokens each Kids Day, then be able to shop the Outdoor Market, using their money to purchase fruits, vegetables, or a plant that produces fruit or vegetables. When you pick up your kits, be sure to peruse the market and check out the young entrepreneur Kids Day booths as well!

Thanks to our Kids Day Sponsor Simmons Foods and Arvest Bank of Siloam Springs!

The Power of Produce (POP) Club provides a fun opportunity for children to engage in the local food system through conversations directly with farmers, educational games and demonstrations, and exposure to new fruits and vegetables. In addition to participating in educational activities, POP Club kids receive POP Club tokens to spend at the market, allowing them to make their own shopping decisions at the market. This program is set-up for ages 3-12.

The Online Market and Farmers Market are CLOSED October 8

Because this Saturday is the Homegrown Festival in downtown, we are taking a break from the online and in-person markets this week!

Come downtown Saturday from 9am-5pm and enjoy the Homegrown Festival! We’ll have lots of booths featuring local artisans, plus food trucks and more!

The following week, October 15, is the last Saturday of our outdoor market in Memorial Park. It will be our last Kids Day (which will have a pumpkin theme since it’s October!) as well.

Beginning October 22, we will be starting up our first ever Winter Market! While the weather is nice, it will be located in front of the Moss House (next door to Memorial Park). Once the weather gets bad, we’ll move the Winter Market indoors to the basement area of the Moss House (there is a sidewalk leading around the building to the basement area for those who don’t want to navigate stairs etc.). The Winter Market will feature 6-8 of our vendors throughout the winter months, and will include a (smaller) selection of local meats, produce, baked goods, and artisan crafts. It will run from 9am-noon on Saturday, from October 22 to December 17 (with a one week break right after Thanksgiving).

We hope to see you October 15 and at the Winter Market!
