Online Market Open! Announcement from R Family Farm!
Good morning!
R Family Farm and the Remington Family brought locally grown, quality beef, pork, poultry, and eggs to our community 6 years ago. In that time their farm has grown and they were able to expand to larger markets as well. It’s been rewarding to watch their business grow and thrive.
This week will be R Family Farm’s last week in Siloam Springs. Sometimes growth includes the need to make changes. We have been truly blessed to have them as a farmer/vendor at our market.
The GREAT news is that David Mitchell, owner of Dos Locos Farms and current provider of lamb and goat, will begin providing beef and pork to our market and possibly poultry as well. You will not have a lapse in being able to purchase meats at the market as David and Roger have worked together so Dos Locos Farm will continue to provide meats from R Family Farm until David had his first beef and pork ready to process and sell. I LOVE the way our local farmers work together to take care of customers.
Be sure to come to market Saturday and send R Family Farm out with best wishes and meet David if you haven’t had that opportunity yet. We will miss the Remington family but I know we are in good hands with the Mitchell family!

What a beautiful weekend! I know the farmers were thankful the rain held off Saturday morning to allow customers to come to the market and I’m sure they were thankful for the rain we had Sunday.
Tomatoes are here along with squash, potatoes, peppers, onions, and more. Stop by this Saturday and get all you need for a week of eating fresh, locally grown, in-season foods!

This Saturday Sharpening on Site of NWA will be at the market so bring your knives, scissors, and gardening tools to have sharpened while you shop!
Doug Calvert will be doing a Dutch Oven Cooking demo starting at 9:30 a.m. Some seating provided.
Steven Brisson will provide live music for your entertainment beginning at 10:30.
Blueberries, summer squash, zucchini, potatoes,and green tomatoes have made their debut at market.
We also have grass fed and pasture raised beef, pork, poultry, lamb and goat.

Well here I’ve done it again, forgot to open the online market. This month has been full of preparation for moving….this week! I will be moving outside of Siloam this week and we are really excited! So please accept my apologies and be excited with me for this great move!

This weekend there will be live music by William Adkins. Strawberries are plentiful and produce is increasing in variety. We have great crafts and gifts by local makers as well as fresh baked goods.

Join us this weekend at the market for Kids Day! Lots of fun, free activities and Dragonfly Studio will be painting faces for a fee. Candice has a nice range of prices and does a beautiful job.
While you’re at the market be sure to get some strawberries! Lamb, goat, beef, pork, poultry and farm fresh eggs are all available. We have all the greens, asparagus, bok choy, turnips, radishes, and cilantro, honey, breads, jam, locally roasted coffee, Lefse, and more!
It will be Mother’s Day weekend so be sure to pick up some flowers or a nice hand crafted item. There is so much to choose from!

What a beautiful weekend it was for the Dogwood Festival! Thanks to all of you who were able to get out and make it to the market Saturday.
At the outdoor market you now have access to local pasture raised beef, goat, lamb, pork, and poultry! With all the produce, some fruit, breads and other baked goods, eggs, and honey you can purchase everything you need to make great, healthy meals to serve to your family and friends.
Don’t forget that our market accepts SNAP benefits and we have a program to double your spending power! Come by the Market Welcome Station to learn more. We also accept Farmers Market WIC vouchers and Senior Vouchers.
