The first Kids Day at the Market was a success! Approximately 40 kids signed up for the new Power of Produce Club. It was a great day with lots of new faces mixed with familiar faces. June 10th is our next Kids Day so Mark your calendar and bring your kiddos out for a morning of fun.

This Saturday Chef Kurt from 28 Springs will be with us for a cooking demo at 10 am and Sam Thompson will be our guest musician.

Place an order online for meat, eggs, or home care and personal products through Thursday night at 10 pm. Your order will be ready for pick up Saturday morning between 9 am and noon.

The online market is open! Place an order through Thursday by 10 pm and it will be ready to pick up Saturday morning between 9 and noon at The Market Welcome Station.

This Saturday is Kids Day! All the favorite activities will be available. We are introducing a new program called the Power of Produce for kids ages 3-12. After completing an activity at the POP Table, the kids will receive two dollars in vouchers to spend on fruit or produce with the Farmers. Thank you to the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital for sponsoring our Kids Day events! Oh, and be sure to visit the Healthy Community Fair at the hospital Saturday! Check their website or Facebook page for the event hours.

Thankful for the rain but so glad it stopped. One of our farms flooded and we are hoping things dry out quickly. They did not lose everything but any loss is difficult.

This Saturday is NWA Lemonade Day and our market is hosting a lemonade stand! This program reaches entrepreneurship to kids as they work through a workbook about planning and running a business. They are encouraged to seek partners, create a business plan, track expenses and income. They are also encouraged to give a portion to a charity,save some, and keep some for spending to celebrate their success!

This weekend is Dogwood Festival and the market will move to the Arvest Bank parking lot Saturday, April 29th. We will be open regular hours, 8 am to 1 pm and all your favorite farmers, bakers, and makers will be There!

We are counting down to opening day! Saturday, April 15th the outdoor market will be open! You can still place an order online but you will pick it up at the outdoor market location in City Park. Orders may be picked up between 9 and noon at the Market Welcome Station.

Online Market Order Update

I’m on vacation and spent most of the day traveling and almost forgot to send the newsletter. Just a reminder, the market still opens on Sunday but I send the newsletter on Monday now so the farmers and vendors have time to update inventory.

The online market is open and there are vegetables, meats, eggs and more available. Have a great week and see you Saturday!
